Refund Policy
We want you to love what you buy from LinguaMaze. If something isn't right, here's our honest refund policy — written in plain language.
Short version: 14 days for downloads, 60 days for unused lesson sessions, judgement calls handled by a human.
Downloadable Resources
If a resource isn't what you expected — wrong level, doesn't match your needs, or there's a quality issue — email us within 14 days of purchase with your order number and a sentence explaining what didn't work. We'll refund it, no hassle.
Why we ask for the explanation: not to gatekeep — we use it to improve future resources. Most refund emails take 30 seconds to write.
After 14 days, refunds are case-by-case. If you've clearly used the resource for a full lesson cycle and just want the money back, that's not what refunds are for. But if you uncovered a defect or mismatch later, tell us.
Live Lesson Packs
Lesson packs (5-pack, 10-pack, etc.) are refundable for unused sessions within 60 days of purchase.
How it works:
- You bought a 10-pack, used 4 sessions → refund of 6 sessions, prorated at the pack rate
- You bought a 5-pack, never used any → full refund within 60 days
- After 60 days, lesson pack refunds are case-by-case
Once a session has been delivered (you attended, or it was a no-show), it can't be refunded.
Single Lessons
Single live lessons paid individually are non-refundable once delivered. If you cancel with 24+ hours' notice, no charge applies. If you cancel with less notice or no-show, the lesson counts as delivered.
How to Request a Refund
Easy:
- Find your order number in the order confirmation email (or in your account)
- Email us via the contact form with the order number and a sentence about what didn't work
- We respond within 24 hours on business days
- Approved refunds process to your original payment method within 5-10 business days (depending on your bank)
A Few Exceptions
We can't refund:
- Sales-tax amounts (those go to your local tax authority, not us)
- Currency conversion fees charged by your bank
- Lesson sessions already delivered or no-showed
- Resources purchased more than 14 days ago without a clear quality / fit reason
About Chargebacks
Please email us first if there's a problem. We'd much rather fix it directly than dispute a chargeback through your bank — chargebacks are slow, frustrating for everyone, and almost always avoidable with a quick conversation.
