Using the Site

You may browse, read, and use the Site for personal or professional learning purposes. You may not:

• Attempt to break, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the Site's operation
• Use any automated tools to copy or download large portions of content
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate someone else
• Use the Site for any illegal purpose

Purchases

When you buy a downloadable resource:

• Payment is processed at checkout via Stripe or PayPal
• You receive an instant download link via email and on the order confirmation page
• Your download is also stored in your account for re-downloads
• Prices are in USD unless otherwise noted
• Sales tax may apply based on your location

License to Use Resources

When you purchase a resource, you receive a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use it under these terms:

• Personal use — unlimited use by the individual purchaser, family, or homeschool
• Single classroom use — included for teachers; one classroom or one tutoring practice
• School / district / multi-classroom use — requires a separate bulk license; contact us
• Resale or redistribution — not permitted under any license
• Modification — minor adaptations for your specific students are fine; rebranding or republishing is not

You may not upload purchased resources to file-sharing sites, school resource exchanges (e.g., TeachersPayTeachers), or any other public platform.

Live Lessons

Live language lessons are scheduled, paid sessions with Annette or another LinguaMaze instructor.

• Lessons are delivered via video conferencing (Zoom, Google Meet) unless agreed otherwise
• Lesson packs may be scheduled flexibly within a 90-day window from purchase
• Cancellations or reschedules with at least 24 hours' notice are no-penalty
• Late cancellations (under 24 hours) count as a used session, but we'll send you the planned materials
• No-shows count as a used session

Refunds

• Digital downloads — 14-day refund window if the resource isn't a fit; case-by-case after download
• Lesson packs — refundable for unused sessions within 60 days of purchase
• Single live lessons — non-refundable once delivered

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — text, images, worksheets, audio, lesson plans, video, and design — is the property of LinguaMaze and Annette Merzouk, or used with permission. You may not copy, redistribute, or use any of this content for commercial purposes without written permission.

Trademarks, logos, and the "LinguaMaze" brand are protected. Don't use them in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership without our consent.

Your Content

If you submit a testimonial, comment, review, or other content to the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use it for marketing purposes (with attribution where appropriate). You can request removal at any time.

You're responsible for the content you submit and confirm it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

Disclaimers

We work hard to make every resource and lesson accurate and effective, but:

• We don't guarantee specific learning outcomes — language acquisition depends on the learner's effort and consistency
• The Site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind
• We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from use of the Site or its content

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Changes apply from the date they're posted. We'll notify you of material changes via email if you have an account.

Continuing to use the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute will be resolved through good-faith conversation first; failing that, through binding arbitration in the state where LinguaMaze is registered.
